FLSTDi. Has 1500 miles on it. Twin Cam 88. The Special Edition paint doesn't show up well in these pictures. it's a pearl Yellow, and candy Purple. Looks much better than it shows here. I had to rent a U-Haul to get it home from Grants Pass.

One of my favorite stops on the way home. Sunny Valley, Oregon

This store has been here for years. Still have well worn wooden floors.

A mother and her chicks

The garage is filling up, but there will be one less soon. The new Harley is pretty..and nice. But, it looks pretty skimpy next to the Wing. :-(

Spun real wheel, like a Fat Boy. A wide Glide front end, with heavy chrome 21" front wheel. Also came with a Corbin seat and some other stuff in a box, I haven't even looked at yet. Pipes, Power commander too. You can't sneak up on anyone. I rode it home from the U-haul place here.

The Wing has a tiny buddy for a couple of days.

Ed and Carl Anderson, and Don in Patrick's Cafe. We stopped in Kingman, had a good lunch and did a little sight seeing..still made 935 miles yesterday.

My last meal. A hand pressed chili burger. It was excellent. Now, back to Nutrisystem for a week or two.

In the parking lot in Grants Pass, OR. After checking it out and getting it's history, I made a trip to the bank and the U-Haul place.

I hope I can get some better pictures where the purple shows up. I haven't opened the new camera box yet, I'll try it out tomorrow on the bike :-)

VSP and Moon. He had a fender for a VN750 to get to another vroc person. (Rook) in Conway, Arkansas. Moon met us at an Exit off I-40 to pick it up for him. She's the "hostess with the mostest" at the Eureka Springs Fall Rally, and she does a fine job of organizing it.

Don's Sweet potato fries and good ribs. This place was next to the Saturday night motel in Checotah, OK, USA

Our Sunday morning breakfast place in Henryetta, OK

I went light on the buffet. This was a good breakfast

Stonewall watches while Jax and Blondy are selling tickets for the meal and the raffle. Tina is busy at work at the table again. She really helps a lot at the rally.

Red Rover's foot is much better today. Glad his crash of last night wasn't worse.

Gathering in out of the rain. Thunder and lightning and heavy rain attacks the Rally in the Valley.

Bob, Jim, KT and T-Bone getting out of the rain.

Montaine came in this afternoon.

The rain makes everyone head for cover any where they can find it.

Kudzu looks quite cheerful!

It was good to see Talon again!

Don is entertaining his new girl friend!

Rain pouring off the roof at the Applecover Inn.

Stonewall doesn't usually have to look up to many people, but when Brian is around, Gord has to look up! Brian is my new Coast Guard buddy. It was fun talking "shop" with him, it's been a long time since I've visited with someone still on active duty. We have a very similar background, but Brian has enough time left to go a little farther up the ladder. Glad I met here here. VROC is a bunch of great people!

Small group talk.

Gale has some kind of belts in self defense. She is also a very active exerciser, and is now on some kind of special diet. I think she could probably kick some serious butt if she wanted to!

Thursday night at the Apple Cover Inn. Blondy is getting into the party mood!

Remember, if you want, you can click on any picture to make it larger with more detail. I'll just breeze through these and add captions later to most of them. Too slow a connection here.

Pappy and his younger brother! I like this picture!

Katie and her daughter Rachel.

VSP is visiting with VTP Brian. Brian is still on active duty in the Coast Guard. We have had much the same background, and have mutual friends..even though I was retired about the time he joined the service. It was nice talking with him!

Hmmmm, lets see, do they still have Liver Mush here???

Getting ready to hold down the chairs on a fine Friday.

Started Thursday morning at this place, just a few blocks down from the Apple Cover Inn. A good place to eat.

Liver mush! Liver that has been beat up in a blender, then mixed with corn meal. It's then rolled out onto baking sheets and cooked. It's fried up crisp just before serving. It's the meat dish with breakfast.

A noisy place. Some of these crotch rockets sound like they are ready to blast off at any time!

There were a couple of brave dogs that roam around the area.

More and more Gold Wings show up here to ride the Dragon.

The pin striping on this bike was done by TJ and the boss. Pat and I know them well, we works rallies together for several years. I recognized his work right away, and found his tiny signature line on the fairing.
